By paying for and/or using CodeMason's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles. By engaging our services, you agree that payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
CodeMason provides professional website development, redesign, and maintenance services. All services are subject to availability and our current pricing structure. The current rates are as follows: Website Development at $1,799.99 CAD, Website Redesign at $1,499.99 CAD, and Website Maintenance at $70 per month or $599.99 per year CAD. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes. Custom services not listed here may be provided upon request at a quoted rate.
A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required to initiate all projects. Work will commence only after the deposit has been received, and this deposit is non-refundable. The remaining 50% of the project fee is due within fifteen (15) calendar days of project completion. Accepted payment methods include cash, e-transfer, or cheque. Overdue invoices may incur a two percent (2%) monthly interest charge. The project deliverables will not be transferred to the client until full payment has been received.
Typical projects are completed within two to four weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and the client's timely response to requests for feedback. Rush projects may be accommodated for an additional twenty-five percent (25%) fee. Clients are entitled to up to five (5) revisions of their website prior to additional charges. Any revisions beyond this limit will incur additional fees, which will be communicated and agreed upon prior to implementation.
Clients are responsible for providing all necessary content, images, and feedback in a timely manner. Clients must ensure that any images or materials provided are properly licensed and that they have the right to use them. CodeMason is not responsible for any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the materials provided by the client, including but not limited to incorrect business hours, addresses, or product information. Delays in providing required materials may affect project timelines.
Ownership of deliverables will not transfer to the client until full payment has been received. Upon receipt of full payment, the client will own the rights to all content and design produced for their project. CodeMason retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio, marketing materials, and case studies.
CodeMason may assist clients with domain registration and setup; however, the cost and management of domains are the sole responsibility of the client. Complimentary support for the first thirty (30) days following website launch is included. Ongoing technical support and maintenance are only provided under an active maintenance plan. CodeMason is not responsible for any issues, interruptions, or errors arising from third-party hosting services or domain registrars.
All client information, materials, and communications will be treated as strictly confidential. CodeMason will not disclose or share client data with third parties, except as necessary to provide services or as required by law.
CodeMason's liability for any claims arising from the services provided is limited to the total amount paid by the client for those services. CodeMason shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, or data.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice. All payments made, including deposits, are non-refundable. If the client cancels before project completion, the client remains responsible for payment of work completed up to the cancellation date. CodeMason reserves the right to terminate services immediately for reasonable causes, including but not limited to non-payment, abusive behavior, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.
